Last weekend Annie and I went to Lake Harding with some friends. It's an awesome lake just south of Lake West Point. I took my recently acquired Fuji X100S. I'm still trying to get the hang of that camera. I'm contemplating writing a review about it not so that I can tell the world about it per-say but so that I can make a decision, I don't know what I think, but I'm starting to love it. My theory is that when you use that little camera it does such an excellent job of getting out of the way of you making pictures that afterwards you have a hard time remembering your experience with it. But you remember the pictures. Guess that's all that really matters.
I'm also getting used to how I like to edit the files. On every level the images are better then my Canon 5D Mark III. It's sharper, has more dynamic range, better color, and handles backlit subjects better than my L glass.
Enough talk. Here's some shots.
And having the ability to quickly make a panorama right in camera is cool too. Straight from camera.
