Cochrane Mill State Park
Last Sunday Annie and I went for a short hike at Cochrane Mill State Park about thirty minutes from our apartment. It wasn't all that exciting, but it was nice to get outside. We stumbled on this awesome lichen covered tree, and while I didn't have much time to shoot it I thought I'd post some of the shots. The light was certainly cooperating. I'll be writing a post dedicated to where I would like this blog to go but for now here's a dead tree.
Right before we started to head out the Sun moved a little and there was this small shaft of light that filtered down through the trees in a straight line. I tried to capture the whole effect but couldn't. The best I could do was to grab this backlit Fern.
